The liberal mind is infected… Diseased.
The disease places the victim in a persistent vegetative state with no cerebral centers of judgment or restraint and presents as a chronic inability to visualize the long-term consequences of one’s actions. Although I am a political independent, the main reasons that I never trust a liberal are their moral bankruptcy and licentiousness, their complete absence of logic and their tendency to willingly contribute to their own demise if it will bring their utopian ideals of social justice and the redistribution of American wealth to fruition.
In support of that utopia, liberals twist and contort the English language to suit their own nefarious purposes and will be the death of this nation, if not stopped in short order. There used to be a time when Americans didn’t need to be taught; they just knew the difference between absolute right and wrong when they heard it. Not any more. Liberal Baby Boomers, although the benefactors of the Greatest Generation, learned absolutely nothing from them. As a matter of fact, they emphatically rejected all they were taught by the heroic actions of W.W.II veterans.
One example is the recent rhetoric used to ratchet up the anti-war pressure. They constantly refer to Iraq as a “war of occupation” or “war of aggression”, a phrase right out of a jihadist propaganda manual. One the Palestinians use often to great effect.
Iraq is not Gaza or the West Bank. There were free Iraqi elections. There is an Iraqi president, parliament and Prime Minister and we are currently there at their behest. In addition, I could be wrong, but I thought all wars involve “aggression”. Other than the cold war, name one war that isn’t a “war of aggression”. This term attempts to sap the patriotism necessary for a successful war effort, while also implying that they would sanction war if they feel it is legitimate, or in their words, not a “war of aggression”.
It is painfully apparent, that liberals are just too invertebrate to defend themselves. The liberal simply cannot stomach war. Even Jesus Christ himself believed that evil must be destroyed. And by killing it if necessary, so I’m not quite sure where the constant liberal moral dilemma comes into play.
The second propaganda lie is that the US is engaging in an “escalation” in Iraq. Sending in reinforcements is not an escalation. But if it were; if it brings about a military victory, an escalation is desirable, is it not? By definition, law enforcement and military actions REQUIRE “escalations” of “aggression”; usually step-by-step; until the desired effect is achieved. Therefore, used in the proper context, an escalation is neither good or bad. So until the war is over, as far as I’m concerned, the jury remains out on whether increases in troop strength are good or bad. So far, it looks good, with reports of over 400 terrorists captured and another 400 killed in 10 days.
But despite the initial successes, while professing a love of US soldiers, John Murtha and Nancy Pelosi are plotting something so sneaky and underhanded, the only conclusion you can come to is that they are aiding and abetting al Qaeda in Iraq. They know that the actual chances of passing binding legislation that cuts off or restricts military funding are both iffy and politically risky. If the effort fails, it will show that there is support for achieving a victory instead of withdrawal. If it passes, it may give the appearance of not supporting the soldiers.
Thus, now they try a different tack.
Instead of cutting off funding, they now seek to burden the Iraq deployments of US soldiers with so much red tape; so many burdensome training and readiness “requirements” that it will effectively be impossible to deploy them. Then after announcing this, Murtha turns around and says he is doing it to protect our men and women in uniform, and it makes me sick.
Dick Cheney may not question Her Highness’ patriotism, but I do. I also question Murtha’s patriotism, as well as his senility. Just because you served this country doesn’t mean you are infallible, or somehow above criticism. Ask John Kerry. It is long past time for America to send John Murtha a very loud message to stop comforting our enemy with his propaganda. If conservatives do not begin loudly and emphatically denouncing the antiwar rhetoric emanating from the left, we are going to lose the war in Iraq because the same jackasses who spit on US soldiers when they returned from Vietnam have now mobilized once again, this time indoctrinating another generation of Americans into the depths of their depravity.
