The Enemy Doesn’t Always Wear a Headscarf
Throughout history the enemies of the United States were easily recognizable;
They wore the red coat and flew the Union Jack; they wore the jackboot and the swastika; they worshipped the rising sun.
In this modern age of global terror, the enemy praises murder. He hides behind burqua-clad women when attacking or evading or he hides in the burqua itself. In his propaganda videos he often wears a headscarf to hide his face. While focusing on our global enemy however, we must be very cautious; for the enemy doesn’t always wear a headscarf. Sometimes he dons a black robe… And bangs a gavel… And makes decisions so contrary to the rule of law that he should not only be removed from the bench, he should be jailed.
Our forefathers knew exactly what they were doing when they formed the system that governs us today. They knew what happened when a tyrannical government puts the screws to its citizens. There’s a very good reason the Founders chose to create a system with 3 branches of government. That way, power was decentralized to such an extent that something approaching equilibrium was achieved. That is to say that no single branch of government could run roughshod over another branch of government, the law or the people. It was a brilliant idea. But in recent years it has come under increasing attack by the judiciary.
Consider US District Court Judge Charles Breyer’s recent injunction that actually prevents the Department of Homeland Security and Social Security Administration from enforcing already established US employment and immigration laws that have existed for decades.
The government was preparing to mail out no-match letters to nearly 140,000 employers affecting nearly 8 million employees, and Breyer put the brakes on it. This is insanity. In his ruling, Breyer likens the issue of sending out SSA “no-match” letters to illegally employed workers to one of discrimination based on national origin. Because they coincidentally originate from a certain country to the south, this liberal judge calls it discrimination and claims that the order staying the mailing of the no-match letters is in all of our best interests because legal workers will suffer too. In his analysis, he says: “The balance of hardships tips sharply in the plaintiff’s favor and plaintiff’s have raised serious questions.” In my mind the only serious question this travesty raises is: “Why is the judicial branch legislating from the bench yet again?”
When a single US District judge can issue an order barring the federal government from carrying out the law of the land enacted by a duly elected legislative branch, we’ve taken a giant leap backwards from some semblance of order towards anarchy. If the Department of Homeland Security actually obeys the injunction, backs off and refuses to follow federal law, then we will have devolved from anarchy into outright tyranny.
In the absence of what today’s lily-livered politicians like to call “comprehensive immigration reform”, the federal government has no viable alternative other than to enforce current immigration and employment law, irrespective of the impact it has on that segment of the population that has no legal right to be here. The rule of law and therefore the continued stability of our society demand it. DHS is obviously on the verge of uncovering an unprecedented wave of identity and employment fraud and those aiding the invasion can’t allow that to happen.
Everybody knows that back-to-back efforts to water down current federal laws have failed because Congress simply has no stomach for political suicide. Legal American citizens have had enough of this silly game and by rejecting amnesty gave notice that they want the law enforced. Just when it appeared that the government was getting the message, rogue judges responded in kind, allowing emotion to trump reason, interpreting the law from the bench and siding with large labor groups that employ illegal aliens. I don’t hear any American citizens complaining thus far. All I hear is fascist Latino labor activists and supporters of this continued assault on our borders shouting communist slogans, calling Americans hateful and playing the race card.
There exists in mankind 2 states of being; Liberty or tyranny. They are mutually exclusive and in constant conflict. You live under one or the other. When a single federal judge blocks the implementation of the will of 300 million Americans to protect what we can extrapolate to be 8 million illegal alien workers, a compelling argument can be made that tyranny is on the march.
