Your comments about these brave, honorable combat Marines are right on target. To treat these young men this way is so typical of the venomous atmosphere in Washington and the Pentagon. We have an extremely biased media and a Congress that has prejudged the issues surrounding Haditha. The media and Congress have conveniently equipped themselves with blinders to prevent the facts from being seen. NCIS conducted such a reprehensible investigation, that the investigators themselves need to be charged with incompetence. The Marine Corps general officers are AWOL (Absent WithOut Logic) and desperate to dispose of this issue in the dark of night and move forward as quickly and quietly as possible. Add an overzealous prosecutor whose idea to search for the truth is more of a scorched earth policy, and when you tie this all together is it surprising we end up with this SNAFU. A SNAFU of this magnitude with these unconscionable allegations is simply dishonorable. So how can our four brave and honorable Marines receive a fair and impartial peer review when the deck is stacked against them? All the lawyers in town are no match for this political assault.
