Notwithstanding the reams of evidence, the media snobs who continue to wonder why a bunch of “fringe conservative” fruit loops would keep up the drumbeat for Obama’s birth certificate, you need look no further than Obama himself. The Constitutional requirement that a president be a “natural-born citizen” is clearly-worded and non-negotiable.

Obama can end the controversy immediately by producing something a little more credible than that Internet-based JPEG image that was discredited as a truly horrendous forgery. Instead, he chooses, not only to withhold his birth certificate, but to suppress every shred of documentary evidence in existence that may contain even oblique references to where he was born.

For the benefit of Bill O’Reilly, Shepard Smith and other media snobs, here’s a review:

The controversy itself, which continues to rip America apart, isn’t just about the birth certificate. It’s about the dozens of legal challenges, not one of which has actually been heard on its merits, but dismissed on technicalities by judges who patronizingly claim plaintiff’s lack standing. in one tyrannical judge’s opinion, the issue had already been ”raised, vetted, blogged, texted, twittered, and otherwise massaged by America’s vigilant citizenry.”

It’s about the complete lack of any documentation prior to Obama’s US Senate days.

It’s about what documents aren’t available and what went AWOL as soon as questions began to intensify:

• Occidental College records - AWOL.
• Columbia University records - AWOL.
• Columbia University thesis - AWOL.
• Harvard Law records - AWOL.
• Harvard Law Review articles - AWOL.
• Illinois Senate memos, calendars and other records - AWOL.
• College-era speeches - AWOL.
• US passport - AWOL.
• Medical records - AWOL.

It’s about well-documented, conflicting claims of his birthplace and hospital of birth from numerous Obama family members, including Barack Obama himself.

It’s about the changing stories from Barack Obama, CNN and other media outlets that have not bothered to examine the claims at all, but took them at face value and have the audacity to ridicule those of us who have done our homework and smell something foul.

Despite being labeled a “fringe right-wing conspiracy theory” that has allegedly (emphasis mine) been thoroughly debunked, the controversy lives on, nourished by fresh evidence that makes new believers out of people every day. Although dismissed by Democrats and Republicans alike as nonsense, Barack Obama’s continued obstinance is deadly serious business that has an increasing potential to plunge the entire country into deep crisis.

Stefan Cook is a Major in the  US Army Reserve who challenged his orders to deploy to Afghanistan on the basis of the lingering questions over Obama’s eligibility. Rather than challenge Cook, the Pentagon simply revoked his orders to deploy.

In a chilling example of what happens to a US military reserve officer trying to balance the exercise of his constitutional rights with his solemn duty to uphold and protect those rights for himself and our entire country, under contract with, and pressured by the Department of Defense, Stefan Cook’s employer fired him in what appears to be a blatant act of retaliation.

To the unwashed, that Cook’s orders were pulled may mean nothing. To this veteran, it is further damning evidence that the conspiracy is not among those asking to see further proof of Obama’s legitimacy, but among those who are conspiring to defeat those efforts.

I have personally witnessed US Navy personnel both try and succeed in killing themselves to get out of military service. I have witnessed sailors claim homosexuality, alcoholism, pacifism, drug use, obesity, flat feet, medical issues, marital problems, depression and every possible excuse a human being can conjure up, and the only individual to ever succeed was the one who killed himself. The US military has pulled Stefan Cook’s orders to avoid embarrassment to their Commander-in-Chief.

Without saying a single word, military commanders have demonstrated that they lack confidence in Barack Obama’s ability to produce proof of his eligibility. If Cook had been allowed to challenge his orders in court, he very well may have gained access to that proof through discovery.

Military officers swear, not just to obey all lawful orders, but to faithfully disobey unlawful ones. To a military officer, any doubt over the legitimacy of orders they are given could be fatal to them, their unit or their mission. And these days, fatal means having your head lopped off with a rusty pocketknife. Lingering questions are simply unacceptable and could subject Cook and other officers who followed illegitimate orders to all kinds of risk. By rescinding Cook’s orders, it appears as if the Pentagon tried to shield their boss from scrutiny.

But, their actions will have the opposite effect. By allowing Cook a free pass in order to shield Obama, the Pentagon has set a frightening precedent, practically inviting American military officers to get in line to challenge their orders based on Obama’s continued obstinance.

If Barack Obama has nothing to hide, why hire an army of lawyers to quash dozens of lawsuits, threaten plaintiffs with countersuits and put so much effort into the suppression of all of this documentation? Politicians excel at compartmentalization. Bill Clinton elevated it to an art form. If the questions over Obama’s legitimacy are, in Bill ‘Reilly’s educated opinion ”bogus”, why would Obama spend over a million dollars vilifying those asking them? Why not just ignore them?

Even liberal Lou Dobbs, who admittedly believes Obama is legit, began questioning why Obama wouldn’t just show the document. And the Southern Poverty Law Center responded by taking the tyrant’s position position that Dobbs and others like him “have no right” to ask these questions.

When you stop and think about Barack Obama’s response to the festering doubt over his very legitimacy, there are only a few logical possibilities. Either his birth certificate doesn’t exist; or, its fraudulent; or, it does exist, but would show us what we’ve been suspecting all along; or, it does exist and it does prove his US citizenship, but he has such disdain for this country, its laws, its people and its Constitution that he’s simply thumbing his nose at us all.

I bled for this country. That entitles me to ask any damn question of our political leadership that wanders through my shattered skull. They answer to ME, I do not answer to them. The day that the citizens of this nation can no longer ask these types of questions is the day that the America our Founders created ceases to exist. How dare you attempt to make this issue about race. This pus-filled sore will continue to fester until Barack Obama releases documentary proof of where he was born.
