Thank you so much for the timely article, Will They Ever Apologize? Please keep up the good work! Hope to see more on Chessani in the next few days. I have sent money to both his and the young Marines’ defense fund…

hello jayme; thanks for your courage in expreesing you thoughts and your a true american. i tried to e-mail mr.mutha but they said after giving all my info ,i was not in his district,so the door was closed. i opened up both barrels to let him know what kind of american would ever make comments about our men in uniform.i for one have deep scars from my returning from vietnam many years ago ,i feel the pain ,but i’m proud of my service to our great nation, thanks again, jerry hutcheon vero beach fla.
I was suprised to see your article about LTCOL Chessani. My husband was stationed at Camp Pendleton when the trials were first started. Little did I know that Edwin was going to fight for his freedom as well, but he lost. Edwin’s case is similar to SGT Brian Foster, whom I have spoken to. It’s sad when the military justice system fails our Marines. I can only hope that in the end (and after I get Edwin out of prison) that the military will at the very least say they are sorry for wrongfully convicting people based on no evidence.
Whatever happened to the concept that it is better that 100 guilty go free than one innocent man convicted?
