As we Americans put another year behind us, one that, like me, I’m sure most of us would rather forget, looking forward to 2010, the one thing that remains abundantly clear to me is that our leadership was completely non-responsive to our concerns in 2009. The future of America depends on the specific actions taken by the people who are in a position to shape it. Unfortunately for Americans, those people are totally corrupt or incompetent. With that in mind, here are ten predictions for 2010. Read More »

“Hindsight is 20/20, but I think that what I am absolutely convinced of is, at that time, we had to change the political debate because the view of the Bush Administration at that time was one that I just disagreed with, and one that I continue to disagree with.” - Barack Obama on his Iraq tapdance
Hindsight may be 20/20, but then why is Barack Obama blindly placing so much emphasis on his supposed hindsight to oppose the war in Iraq? That argument may have sold like hotcakes when we were losing, but all you can get for it these days is a handful of loose change. Read More »

Rosie O’Donnell really needs to cut down sharply on her trips to the supermarket. That way, she wouldn’t have two and a half hours during checkout to browse through the tabloids searching for inspiration for the next segment on her bully pulpit, ABC’s the View. Many of the accusations she has leveled in recent weeks are so bizarre, they aren’t even worthy of tabloid coverage.
Co-hosted by Barbara Walters, a 247 year old washed-up journalist who has had so many face lifts she has not just defied, but indeed defeated gravity; Joy Behar, a teacher who gave up an honorable profession to become an obnoxious comedienne (a joke all by itself); and Elisabeth Hasselbeck who became famous for -of all things- getting kicked off of Survivor Island, it is no small wonder that the plug hasn’t been pulled on this garbage yet.

Although the United States is committed to diplomacy to resolve the Iranian nuclear crisis, recent revelations bode ill for those efforts and in fact show that the door has already slammed shut on our ability to bring about a peaceful resolution. It is looking increasingly likely that we may need to intervene militarily to prevent Iran from arming a nuclear weapon.
The US Defense Logistics Agency exists to procure and provide weaponry, vehicles, fixed and rotary wing aircraft and armor to the military for our war efforts. It has done so since World War II. But many of our sworn enemies are secretly obtaining what is supposedly “demilitarized” or “demilled” surplus hardware and war materiel. I’m not talking about rifles, ammunition or mess kits. I’m referring to F-14 microcircuitry, helicopter parts, missile seeker heads, rocket launchers, body armor and surveillance equipment.

In a previous incarnation, I was a Systems Analyst for over ten years, nothing more than a glorified title for one who uses computer code to solve problems. My world was black and white. Assumptions were forbidden and always resulted in having to do the job over again. The results of my work were either valid or invalid. My computer code, which was modeled on logic, either executed or failed. Read More »
