US Army Ranger First Lieutenant Michael Behenna comes from a long line of public servants. Like many young men today, he joined the military and became a US Army Ranger after seeing our country ruthlessly attacked on September 11th, 2001 . Sadly, like far too many soldiers and Marines of this politically-correct era, he was thrown into a deep, dark hole to die - not by the terrorists he was sent to fight in Iraq, but by the US military’s dysfunctional justice system. USMC Sgt. Edwin Ehlers
As a veteran who spends a great amount of time advocating for other veterans, nothing is more painful than hearing from a service member’s family that their soldier, sailor, airman or Marine - good and patriotic American men, who perform some of the most dangerous work imaginable to defend us, are devoured whole and then spit out by the insidious disease of political correctness, simply because they had the courage of their convictions to stand up and serve their country.

No military prosecutions in recent history have garnered as much negative publicity for the U.S. Marines as have the cases of the Marines of 3/1 Kilo Company, ambushed in Haditha, Iraq, in November of 2005. On March 17, 2009, the U.S. Navy/Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals (NMCCA) unanimously upheld the dismissal of all charges against USMC Lt. Col. Jeffrey Chessani. Like those who sat in judgment of Chessani’s criminal trial, the appeals court found exactly what those of us who stood by him already knew back when this witch hunt began; That this case was indeed tainted by the foul stench of Unlawful Command Influence (UCI), the mortal enemy of military justice. It was not a fair trial. Read More »

“I would rather be tried by a jury of my peers than be carried by six of my friends in a casket.” - Justin Sharratt
Michelle Obama recently said that for the first time in her adult life, she was proud of her country. While I unequivocally disagree; while I have found many occasions in my adult life to be proud of my country, I can emphatically say that this is not one of them. As a matter of fact; for the first time in my adult life, I am unabashedly ashamed of my country. Ashamed that our Commander-In-Chief would order Marines from Lt. Col Jeffrey Chessani’s 3rd Battalion to battle terrorists in Iraq only to turn his back and hold his nose while these brave men, who should be held aloft on our shoulders and celebrated, are viciously and selectively prosecuted. It is nauseating, this wretched betrayal. Read More »
