How To Defeat The US Marines Without Ever Firing a Shot

Crime and Punishment, Judicial Tyranny, Military/War, Political Correctness, Society/Culture

USMC Sgt. Edwin Ehlers

As a veteran who spends a great amount of time advocating for other veterans, nothing is more painful than hearing from a service member’s family that their soldier, sailor, airman or Marine - good and patriotic American men, who perform some of the most dangerous work imaginable to defend us, are devoured whole and then spit out by the insidious disease of political correctness, simply because they had the courage of their convictions to stand up and serve their country.

JAG Corps “Keisters” Justice In Foster Case

Crime and Punishment, In the Media, Judicial Tyranny, Military/War, Society/Culture

UPDATE - 5/8/2009 - Sgt. Foster will not face trial on remaining charges.

Due to the outrage provoked by this colum and the efforts of yours truly, War of Wits has scored a giant victory and helped a Marine get opne step closer to freedom. Thanks to all of you who supported this Marine.

                                                                  ###

No military prosecutions in recent history have garnered as much negative publicity for the U.S. Marines as have the cases of the Marines of 3/1 Kilo Company, ambushed in Haditha, Iraq, in November of 2005. But the wrongful conviction and imprisonment of another Marine further reinforces the public perception of something institutionally corrupt about the Navy Judge Advocate General Corps’ application of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. “This fight is about war” - Bay Area Code Pink

The Berkeley, California City Council has declared war on the US Marine Corps.

On January 29, 2007, the Peace and Justice Commission of the Berkeley City Council recommended that the City Manager study the city’s options for running the US Marine Corps out of Berkeley. The recommendation referred to the Marines as a “violent influence”, directed the City Manager to send letters to the Shattuck Avenue Marine Corps recruiting station and the Commandant of the Corps telling them that the recruiting office was not welcome in their city and threatening the Marines that if they chose to stay in Berkeley, that they did so as uninvited and unwelcome intruders. This Is My Rifle

Crime and Punishment, Haditha, In the Media, Media Bias, Military/War, Politics, Terrorism

This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my rifle is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than the enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will. My rifle and I know that what counts in war is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, or the smoke we make. We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit. My rifle is human, even as I am human, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strengths, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its barrel. I will keep my rifle clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. Before God I swear this creed. My rifle and I are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life. So be it, until victory is America’s and there is no enemy. - U.S. Marine Corps Rifleman’s Creed.

The Rifleman’s Creed exemplifies what it means to be a Marine. The rifleman is the most basic element of the Marine Corps command structure. Without the rifleman, the Corps is nothing.
